KEY INFORMATION ABOUT SPERM DONATION

Payment for sperm donation

It is against the law for us to pay sperm donors for their donation. However, we are able to offer you compensation towards expenses for each visit to our sperm donation clinic, which is paid at the end of the process.

Anonymity for sperm donors

When donating sperm to the First Choise Donor your details will never be made available to the recipients. However, once they turn 18, any child born as a result of you donating sperm would have the potential to contact you via the HFEA.

Attending our sperm donation clinic

Providing you are suitable, you will be asked to attend our sperm donation clinic once a week for between five and ten weeks to produce sperm samples. This means you will be donating sperm a total up to 15 times.

BECOMING A SPERM DONOR

Applying to become a sperm donor is the first step of your journey. A member of our sperm donation team will then get in touch to provide more information and go through the next steps with you. Please be aware that sperm donation will take place in central London. Once you have applied you will still have plenty of time to ask questions and change your mind should you wish.
